Alan
is closely involved with the latest GS1 barcode technology and serves as
Co-Chair of the GS1 Joint Industry Coupon Committee that supports an industry
coupon reengineering initiative. Alan has presented on GS1 barcoding at
FMI, ACP, IBM Retail User Group, and U-Connect conferences.
Alan has spent over 35 years in supermarket food and drug retailing. Prior
to joining Ahold in 2000, Alan held various IT management roles at Albertsons,
American Stores and Jewel Companies.
Tammy

systems, including shrink management and production planning, at United.
Prior to joining United in 2004, Tammy was with McGlynn Bakeries in Minneapolis,
MN, serving in both the Frozen Food Division as national accounts manager
and in the Retail Division as Vice President, Store Operations. Tammy is
a native of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, and a graduate of Metropolitan State
University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.
