Wiggly Park and Shop Food Markets implements ADC's InterScale scales management
system
December 2006, Maxton, NC Park and Shop Food Markets operates a group of grocery stores under the Piggly Wiggly franchise in North Carolina. Prior to their InterScale implementation, they were using Hobart's ScaleMaster system to host their Ultima and Quantum barcode labeling scales. Following the acquisition of Hobart by ITW, ScaleMaster was put into a support-only state, with no further new development planned. ADC has a program to automatically migrate ScaleMaster data into the InterScale database, allowing an easy and painless transition between the two systems. InterScale retains the scale connectivity and wiring from ScaleMaster. |
