Lion rolling out InterScale and iScale December 2002, Salisbury, North Carolina Food Lion has licensed both central and in store modules of ADC's InterScale scales management system for all 1200 Food Lion stores. The InterScale Scale Server software is to run on ADC's iScale web-based scale server hardware in each Food Lion store, communicating to label printing scales from Hobart and Mettler Toledo. Food Lion is one of the largest supermarket chains in the United States with 1,200 stores in 11 Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic states. selects InterScale and iScale August 2002, Oklahoma City, OK Fleming Companies, Inc., a $15 billion national multi-tier supply chain network, has licensed the InterScale system with iScale server hardware to manage the barcode label printing scales in its 115 corporately owned stores operating under the Food4Less and Rainbow Foods banners. The implementation of ADCs InterScale system will allow Fleming to accurately manage item, pricing and label information on all of the barcode label printing scales in the perishable service areas.
