Ukrop's Super Markets, Inc. licenses P-Cubed modules
July 2007, Richmond, VA
Ukrop's originally implemented the InterScale system with iScale Scale Servers in 2003, first to two new stores and then replacing their ScaleMaster system in all existing stores. ADC is pleased to announce that Ukrops have recently licensed the P-Cubed Labeling and Markdown Manager modules which builds directly on their existing InterScale web-centric infrastructure. The P-Cubed Labeling module replaces a fixed Monarch Floral labeling system, with P-Cubed running through the web browser on wireless portable hand held scanners, printing labels through Zebra portable wireless barcode labeling printers. The Markdown Manager module uses the same hardware combination to print replacement barcoded labels at the case so that the original shelf life is retained without having to pull the items out of the case and back to the production areas for re-labeling.
