Foodland upgrade to InterScale Enterprise Edition

Buehler's buys iScales for 16 stores acquired from Winn Dixie

Buehler Foods Inc., who selected the InterScale Enterprise System for their 28 stores last year, have acquired 16 stores from Winn Dixie and have promptly purchased the iScale with the InterScale Scale Server module for each store.

Lowes Foods rolls out P-Cubed into 65 stores

Binghamton Giant upgraded from InterScale Standard to Enterprise

Originally installed in 2000, the InterScale Standard Edition has been upgraded to the web-centric Enterprise Edition, including the running of the InterScale Scale Server software on a thin-server iScale in each store, replacing the software's use on the NCR UNIX ISP.

Stew Leonard's selects InterScale and NutriGen

ADC is pleased to announce that Stew Leonard's has selected the InterScale system to replace their Hobart ScaleMaster scales management system. This includes an iScale in each store managing the very latest Ethernet Hobart Quantum Max and Bizerba scales. A driving factor in Stew Leonard's choice of InterScale was its ability to host tare weights to 3 decimal places of accuracy.

Big-Y upgrade to InterScale Enterprise Edition

Big-Y originally installed the InterScale Standard Edition at their headquarters and into each of their 48 stores in 1999. They are to upgrade this system to the InterScale Enterprise system at the headquarters location and are replacing the in-store InterScale database with the WebStore thin-client in-store user interface, whereby in-store browsers interact directly over the WAN with a web server at HQ. Factors influencing their upgrade decision include 14 digit GTIN compliance and support for Avery MP PC based scales. The new system will be rolling out through December 2004.

Hannaford Brothers buys iScales for the newly acquired Victory stores

Hannaford Brothers have increased their number of stores to 139 through the acquisition of 19 Victory stores. Hannaford Brothers purchased the iScale with Toledo Satellite Server option for each of the new stores.

Ukrop's replaced ScaleMaster with InterScale and iScale in all stores

Having licensed InterScale and iScale for two new stores last year, Ukrop's confirmed its positive evaluation of these ADC systems by licensing InterScale and iScale for all stores in the chain, replacing the Hobart ScaleMaster scales management system.

Roundy's adds 20 new stores, buys iScale for each

SaveMart upgrades from InterScale Standard to Enterprise Edition

SaveMart originally installed the InterScale Standard Edition into their 101 supermarkets in 2000, with the in-store Scale Server module running on their SCO UNIX in store processors using ADC's iScale in Port Redirector mode to communicate with various brands of scales including Hobart, Digi, Ishida and Mettler-Toledo. SaveMart has recently completed the transition to the web-centric InterScale Enterprise System, with the in-store iScales now running in Scale Server mode.
