Previous and part-time members of the After Dark Crew include:

Howard 'Cookie Man' Gendrau:
Drums and Vocals

A native of New Jersey, Howard has fully adopted the Florida culture, including the refusal to cut his hair even though he is now a grandfather. To understand how Howard gets into his drumming, think Animal from the muppets. He's even been known, mid-song, to run 'round the front of his drum set and beat that cymbal to a pulp, returning to the chair to deliver a power finale.

Howard is also the driving force behind the internationally renowned band "Intentionally Left Blank".

Lightnin' Lane Longley:

Lane was a 'Crew member from 2004 through 2008 and was a good fit with the group as a long time player with similar taste in music to the 'Crew's repertoir. He got his first guitar in 1968, and still has it. Old guitars and tube amps are his favorites, with a special love for his Gretsch 6120. Lane played in numerous bands since high school and college and brought his "Stray Cat" swing style to the band. Lane obviously enjoys playin' the blues and foot stompin' rock'n roll. We wish Lane all the best in his musical endeavors.

Maurice 'Mojo' Moore:

Maurice used to sing and play bass guitar for the 'Crew before starting the Stroke of X Band. Make sure you go and see Stroke of X wherever they are playing...

Born in Nicaragua to the Latin beat, raised in Georgia where the yet-unknown Allman Brothers played at his high-school prom, Maurice lived and played in Louisiana where he absorbed the sounds of the bayou. The funkmaster of the 'Crew, Maurice's bass never misses a beat.

'Major' Steve Clauser: Saxophone, Vocals, Effects and Bass

On returning from a full year stint on Operation Iragi Freedom in Kuwait and Iraq, Steve was quick to re-join the 'Crew. Steve has played Saxaphone since high school, but his latest love is the guitar so gadget man Steve plays all kinds of accompanyments on his synthesiser guitar and fills in on bass when Maurice is out of town. Steve even took a travel guitar to Kuwait and played it every night out in the desert.

Marcia Simmons:

A classically trained flautist, Marcia's flute playng added a touch of class and originality to those Jethro Tull covers. All the best Marcia..
