Just a bunch of 'boomers playing the music of their youth - but you'll like it too!

The After Dark Crew began playing together in 2001 as the home-brewed entertainment for ADC, Inc.'s Annual User Conference. It turned out to be a lot of fun so they kept practicing and adding new arrangements, gradually adding outside gigs. Returning fans, regular gigs and a couple of big stage performances pretty well cover their lofty goals. They aren't lean with hunger for fame and wealth, they don't have thick skins from one record label rejection after another and they aren't salivating with impatience for the day they can quit their day jobs. While the fever to perform may have the After Dark Crew ready to jump onstage, any stage, at a moment's notice, bottom-line it's all about having fun.

The 'Crew's first love is the blues, but we also cover classic rock songs originally by: Stevie Ray Vaughan, the Allman Brothers, the Doors, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones and ZZ Top, with party standards such as: Mustang Sally, Johnny B Goode, Taking Care Of Business and a growing crop of originals.

The After Dark Crew are the Tampa Bay area's Baby Boomer Blues Band and are available to perform blues, classic rock covers and party-standards for your customers, guests, patrons or corporate/private party (see booking). We guarantee to get 'em up and dancin'. But beware; this is not wedding reception material, it's the blues - generally on a theme of "my baby left me..."
